hi everyone

English is not my first language. Forgive me all mistakes. I hope you will get what I mean

after you read the following message:

I would like to ask you for help. I would like to learn by heart some hits of neoclassical

music for guitar. I am satisfied with my technical skills and would like to employ them in

playing not exercises but in playing particular pieces of music ( hits- some people play

Bach pieces, some people play vivaldi e.t.c). I am interested in those solos transcribed for guitar. I will play them in slower tempos but anyway, would like to try. Do you think it is possible to

buy cd or dvd with particular song recorded on it and have also second cd where backing track is

recorded so that I can play solo parts over this backing track? Well, I would also be glad

if it was possible to buy dvd or video with somebody playing this song on it . Probably

these people show note by note how to play these songs. Do you think any good guitar player has ever recorded anything like that? Do you think that it is possible to

have tabulature enclosed to cd or dvd so that I can have proper fingering?

Well, it may sound that I am too demanding and too lazy but would like to have materials like that.

if you have any comments , please write a reply
regards
rafael

If you could send me your email adress, then i could send you some classical pieces in ptab format.
The programm to display ptab is "powertab" and it is free! I can send you that little programm also.. ;).
You won't see anyone playing that stuff, but at least you have the tabs, and you can listen to them or print them out.
So, please, give me our e-mail adress via pm and it will be right on it's way.

;)
Cheers,
Sven (again ;))

Gee, there were a lot of ";)" in that last post of mine.
Looks like i have an eye disorder. :D

Anyway, does someone know about posting that classical ptabs and copyright restrictions?
If that wouldn't be a problem i could post them here to download, if there is a problem with it then.. erm.. i have none. I don't have any ptabs at all. :D

Most classical pieces were never copyrighted to begin with. And, even if they were, the copyright would have long since expired. Most classical pieces are public domain and free to use. So if you want to post a few Bach pieces I'm sure the RIAA will leave you be. ;)

Alrighty then - if i go to jail i'll blame you fader. :D

Here is where you can download Powertab:
http://www.power-tab.net/guitar.php

I attached a zip file with some classical stuff - not much though... i looked through it and saw that it mostly is arranged for more than one guitar, but maybe just pick your favorite line and go from there.

Have fun with it.

BTW: I edited the thread title to make it's purpose more obvious. :)

If all of the compsers relatives are dead then its fine, but somtimes they live off royalties, or they keep the copyright along with some previously unreleased work so they can make money when they need it.
