I started a music theory blog and I want your feedback as to what concepts/techniques I should cover:
Note Theory (http://notetheory.blogspot.com/)

Right now there are two lessons online; Circle of Fifths Demystified (http://notetheory.blogspot.com/2006/05/circle-of-fifths-demystified.html) and the D-A-F Roadmap (http://notetheory.blogspot.com/2006/05/d-f-roadmap.html) (being able to play 3 different positions of any major chord)

Leave me a comment on the blog if you find it useful or if you have ideas for future posts. Thanks,

Gishdog

You could browse through our Music Theory forum and see what topics the visitors are interested in.

But if you really want a huge traffic go ahead for covering modes :D

I'm going to publish a topic every day (or at least attempt to) and right now the plan is to publish a basic overview of the major scale today, and over the weekend I will cover modes and their relationship.

Check back often

Note Theory (http://notetheory.blogspot.com/) has been recieving a ton of hits from these forums. I appreciatte the support. Right now, I am averaging 300 unique visitors a day... that's amazing. I have alot of content planned, and even some reviews and giveaways in the near future. Make sure you bookmark it and check back a few times a week.

Two more lessons online: The Major Scale From The Beginning (http://notetheory.blogspot.com/2006/05/major-scale-from-beginning.html) and Major Scales Part 2 - Chords (http://notetheory.blogspot.com/2006/05/major-scale-part-2-chords.html)

The other two lessons have recieved very solid response; Circle of Fifths Demystified (http://notetheory.blogspot.com/2006/05/circle-of-fifths-demystified.html) and the D-A-F Roadmap (http://notetheory.blogspot.com/2006/05/d-f-roadmap.html) (being able to play 3 different positions of any major chord)

Leave me a comment on the blog if you find it useful or if you have ideas for future posts. If the site helps you out, click on one of the google ads or use the google search.

Thanks,
