hi i'm wondering what are your favorite kind's of basslines and what do they consist of melodically? I don't play any instrument myself but write in a sequencer and figure it might be good to get some tips from people who play bass as an instrument.
the kinds of things i do with bass are generally simple like createing it from the notes of the current chord root to fifth root 7th fifth, sometime
i use anticipation tones useing a note from the next chord to lead to the next bar.
that's about height of it.
