Hi again...

I have a little tip for everyone of you who intends to buy a new amp. Before buying try to play a Brunetti Amp (I m not kidding)... these amps are really really good (and I mean it)....Try the latest one (Xl-R-evo II)...it sounds warm and it gives you an own character. (full-midi,3 completely seperate channels)...I bought one recently...so take your time and try it!!!!
The amp is build in Italy, yes I know Pasta, Roma, Del Piero but amps too hahahahah.

P.S Listen to the new Richie Kotzen `Slow´!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great album

Yeah, they are just damn nice Apms. I had the chance to quite thoroughly test one of the Pre-Amps and this thing just rocked - very smooth and warm tone ......

here's the url: http://www.brunetti.it/

Hi Essatic!!

You re right they are expensive but all I m saying if you wanna spend so much money in an amp don t forget to test them( I didn t try the 059)...Mesa Boogie all this league is f/$%§ing expensive but I think that having a good tone that you re satisfied with needs a good amp....maybe you should try a combo, good too.
It all depends what you want to hear

Exactly. A good amp is like the basic building block of a good sound ( together with a good guitar and the tone from your hands ), and since it often is an expensive thing to get and an important decision, one should take a lot of time to test and compare different amps.
I met a lot of guys who were like "Yeah, I am gonna get those stompboxes and that and that multieffect etc... and some amp"
That is so silly because all the effects won´t sound really good if the amp does not.
So one should really take some time and find that good amp and then build onto that.

I would be careful especially with mailorder-stuff. Of course you can give it back if you don´t like it, but it is always a hassle. When I do order something from a distributor by mail, it´s always stuff like pickups, strings, picks or maybe stompboxes...
If I want a guitar, cabinet or amp, I go to a store and check it out before I buy it.
This might sound like an unnecessary advice, but I know people who ordered stuff by mailorder, and it sucked and they had to go through a bunch of hassle to give it back. Even if you tested a certain guitar, it might be that the one you get by mailorder doesn´t sound as good.
Same with buying stuff on EBay. If you do, try to bid for something that you can check yourself before the auction is over... like, a guitar from a guy who´s living not too far away, so you can maybe go to his house and check the thing before you bid on it.
Otherwise you might really be disappointed.

Warm regards
Eric
