What does the late great Randy Rhoads play here ?
I recognize some pentatonics, in the 1st solo, but other than that
I'm no good with scale names.
what does he play in the slow/mellow part before
the outro solo and what's that outro solo
Look, I even got a link :D

I think Randy is not playing as much scales as he is playing chord based tones and cromatic figures around these chord based tones in the outro solo.

There's a definite sense of Harmonic Minor but with chromatic passing tones and as G says it's mainly based around aiming at the Chord tones. I have tabs for it if you want them.:D

Sounds like the opening riff is minor pentatonic in a downward stepping run..with a little blues lick at the very beginning...

If your picking technique isnt in order, you should probably practice it before you try to play this solo. If it is, there is lots of bluesy stuff in this solo and you can play everything on there by ear. Dont use tabs or notes for solo's. Notes are good if you are playing in school or something, but don't use tabs. When you play with ears you learn so many new things about music. It's totally worth it. Even it would take days to pick this up by an ear, you should. I can't give you other advices.
Have fun with it,
Stengah.

I would like to interject by saying that with the music I listen to/try to play, I actually developed my ear by printing out tabs, and then finding mistakes within them. Its started with simple stuff like tool, then metallica, then in flames/soilwork, then with complex stuff like cannibal corpse/paganini
