hey just wondering which fingers you guys would use if you were targeting the 3rd 5th and 7th fret on any given string. would you use the index or ring for the 5th fret?

I would personally use fingers 1 2 and 4 in most cases like that.

1 2 4 for me too, though I would sometimes tend towards 1 2 3 where the stretches become comfortable.

Yep, definately middle finger is my choice too.
