hi,guys..i've seen a lot of tabs mentioned semi harmonic...but i just can't get it...what is it actually? and how can i achieve it? thx u

Hi

I've never fully grasped what's that about. but i THINK it's when you do a normal pinch harmonic and kinda "fail". So that you hear the harmonic but also the original tone. Zakk Wylde tends to do these in many of his solos.

Pulling them of is kinda tough i guess.. But, as always with these stuff, über-distortion helps out.

Hope I didn't made a complete fool out of myself now :D

Yeah sperzels exactly right. Allow to string to resonate naturally along with the harmonic. I find it alot easier to to do with on acoustic *(nylon string) guitars than electrics just using the right hand to produce them. Hard to produce consistently on electric. For me anyway!
