haha, I like how he does all this crazy stuff, then goes "well, shawn lane could do all this with just his left hand". How awesome is that? :D

Cool clip! I'm not a fan of Shawn Lane's music (although I probably haven't listened to it enough to do it justice) but he's definately one to make the most out of pentatonics.

Guthrie Govan uses a lot of pentatonic shapes that break out of the 2 note per string affair, Steve Morse also does this, you can get some really cool doubled-note across adjacent strings that sounds confusing when played up to speed.
