i get a super groovy tight wrist flick by doing 567876567876567876..... and then try to keep that same motion and play a 3 note per string scale with a pause between each string dud pause udu ......... and then do it without the pause...........it works really good like training wheels.

I think I get it, the result would be a 3nps scale played like a gallop, yes?

yeah like a gallop. it helps to get a feel for matching the speed of dud with udu and other things.its simple but it is helping me alot.

So you play like in bursts and have a short break befor moving onto the next string, right?
But you do keep the alternating, like if you started on a particular string with a downstroke you start on the next string with an upstroke?
