I am not sure what a pletora is but I know what a hemeola is, as I play flamenco and within flamenco time signatures, hemeola is often used:
6/8 and 3/4 alternating time signatures
So, flamenco forms like Guajira, Petenera and Seguiriya and transcribed in hemeola (6/8+3/4)
Apart from the transcribing, the accents look like this:
> - - > - - > - > - >
| 1 & a 2 & a | 3 & 4 & 5 & | or
| 1 2 3 1 2 3 | 1 2 1 2 1 2 |
These are some ways of counting hemeola. Hope this helps!!!

You may want to cut and paste the accented counting into a new text file and set it to a fixed width font like Courier......
