Hey guys, haven't posted in a while.

In Satriani's song "Searching" right after the whammy pedal sorta thing, the part where he speeds up the note and then slows it down, and all that such.

What effect is he using? I'm sure he's using an effect b/c in G3: Tokyo, he plays "Searching" and he is twisting a knob on one of the pedals.

It's either his Boss DD-2 or DD-3 Delay pedal

Thanks

My friend Jordan agreed. He has been playing for years and says you play one note and turn the mode to hold and then adjust the speed.

Oh by the way, what the heck is that hanging off his right leg (our left)? is it some sort of keychain or something.

That, or you turn the repeats to max and adjust the rate/speed....I read in an interview with Joe awhile back that the thing on his leg is a good luck charm made for him for the G3 tour by his wife, Rubina. Its not a chain...Its made of some kind of fabric.

Cool, I seen that it had some sort of pictures hanging from the ends and that it looked like rope or that stringy leather stuff.

I didn't know his wife's name either.
Thanks.
