Here's another chromatic lick using a symettrical pattern across the strings using alternate picking.

Not really musical, but a good picking exercise.

Actually i think that could be very musical. It seems that the more I mature as a musician the more the cromatic scale becomes a viable means to get from here to there.


I think the thing to practicing any cromatic scale is to think of a situation where you can use to. Think of where you want to end up and then think about how many notes you can play to get there in time then you can figure out where to start from.

I just happened to be in e flat when I did the video. So when I did the tab I noted the e flat for those crazy people who would want to play along!!!!!!
