Hybrid Picking # 1
Ok here I am going outside my comfort zone. I've been listening to a bit of Country Shredders lately, Brad Paisley, Danny Gatten etc... I find the playing very different from the typical shredder licks but its still very challenging. So here is an intro to hybrid picking lick, which of course is a big part of this type of guitar playing. Typically its the pick is held normally, and you use the extra fingers on the right hand to pluck additional strings. Anyway, watch the video to see what I'm talking about.

Anywhooo, Its a cool technique, I'm gonna keep slugging away at it, and hopefully I'll get better.
