tremolo... out of tune on ALL guitars?

Hello... i was just wondering if it was jsut fender that goes out of tune when you use the whamy bar... is it? and do you think this: http://www.gregbennettguitars.com/mb50.html guitar goes out of tune when you use it?

Unfortunately I think your post will clearly fall foul of rule 7b, ie No Gear Talk. (but the obvious solution is a guitar with Floyd-Rose style trem). Otherwise, Harmony Central is the usual suggestion for discussing gear Q's like this.

Apart from that, welcome to the forum if you want to discuss playing and music (as opposed to gear) :) .

nearly ANY trem can stay in tune, the most common tuning problems with trems isnt the trem itself but usually the nut and/or tuners, a graphtech or sim. nut and/or locking tuners solves most trem tuning woes.

But yeah, no gear talk:D

It's been my experience that all non-double locking tremolos go out of tune when using the whammy bar. Fender is no better nor worse than any other brand in this regard, it's simply nature of the beast.

For what it's worth, Greg Bennett's guitars are by far the best value in starter instruments. I should know, I've sold thousands of them over the past seventeen years. We mark them up three times, sell them 33% off and they're still cheaper than a comparable Epiphone or Fender model, and often have better appointments. Buy with confidence!

the old bigsby is the only one i've ever used that consistently stayed in tune.
