I was really shocked to hear that John ENtwhistle, the legendary bassist of The Who, was found dead this morning.
Even though I didn´t grow up in the sixties and seventies, I always knew the Who and listened to many of their songs... I always appreciated their songwriting, arrangements and of course John´s unique bass-playing.
I even had a chance to see them live twice in 2000...
R.I.P., John, hope you´re up there jamming on one of those "vulture"-basses...
