I'm listening to the venezuelan waltzes, I play one of them does anyone have any experience w/ them? I'd love to do a joint analyzation of them on here.

here is the attachment. I would rather it didn't have tab, but thats the only one I could find. I'm going to analyze this and compare notes to anyone that chooses to take a peek at it.

That's a coincidence. I've been learning classical/Spanish guitar for a short while now, in addition to my "shred". I've begun with Gabriel Faure.
While trawling through Youtube I discovered this guy playing a piece by Lauro. the video is here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SA7lPc-qV0&feature=related)
This led me to find other pieces by Lauro, though La Gatica is my favourite. Incidentally the guitar used in the video is actually a Variax 300. I think the sound is fantastic.
Anyway, just thought I'd mention it. But I doubt I'm able to "analyze" much.

if you know of a piece we could both learn? we could trade our interpretations of them?

I think you're better off going ahead and learning the piece you like. I'm concentrating on a Faure piece currently, and I'm not letting it go till I get it recorded perfectly and to my satisfaction. And that may take some time haha, since I divide my time between acoustic classical and shred. I might learn a Lauro piece in the future, and maybe you can recommend one to me, but I have a list of other things to learn before then.
Be sure to post an mp3 of any piece you learn. I'd like to hear it!
