I dont get the arpeggios but the gypsy dud both ways on page 114 is really fast for scalular things. Its worth loading the whole page cuz it looks like a whole guitar world magazine free all about speed shredders. I was surprised when I heard Les Paul the first time right before he died - he sounded alot like Paul Gilbert or Yngwie without distortion way back in the 1930's I think. I dont know if he used gypsy style or not - he was REALLY into Django Riehnhard though.
