Whats up duders.
I am wondering if anyone here has had the opportunity to play with the new fender trem system. Its got a vintage-y looking bridge with a bar (no white thing on the end) and works in conjunction with a roller nut and schallers. Any good? I am mainly interested in tuning stability compared to a normal vintage 2-point trem, and if anyone knows how compatable it is with the normal vintage 2-point trem, and whether it floats, please tell. ( They say it is with most of their bridges, but thats them isn't it?)
ie. I don't:
a)want to buy a floyd original for my new fender strat (big bucks in OZ)
b)want to completely frig the tone by doing so
c)want to frig the guitar with all the routing required for a floyd and mess up the finish
d) want to have a pain in the *** one and a half hour string change
e) want to buy a) a sambora model
b) a custom shop model w/ floyd (in my dreams!!)
Thanks !!!
