I guess I should have asked this question before I screwed up my guitar! :( Actually, it's not screwed up too bad, but it was better before I messed with it. My question is though, how, exactly (I know roughly how to do it), do you adjust the action on an electric? I got the truss rod, and the individual height adjustment for each string at the bridge. For example, do you tighten the truss rod to where the action is close to where you want it, and then adjust each string individually at the bridge, or what? Is it better to set the strings higher at the bridge, and lower the action by tightening the truss rod, or set the strings low at the bridge, and have a relatively loose truss rod? I've got fairly significant fret buzz now on the 5th and 6th strings, even though the action is higher than I'd like it. If someone could give some advice, or direct me to a website, I'd be grateful. And don't worry, I can only do a maximum of $150 worth of damage, since that's how much my guitar cost. :)
Cheers,
Dan
