Hey guys!

Only been on here for a few days, but I'm really impessed as to the wealth of knowledge on these boards. You guys need to advertise!!!!

Just a wee question concerning my latest aquisition, a Gibson SG Korina. I looked on the net extensively and found out that the Gibson Custom shop makes a Korina model (based on a '60s model I think) but the one I have has a walnut stripe thru the body and carries "LTD Edition- 173 of 500" on the truss rod cover.

I bought it cause it plays real nice, but Everyone that sees it remarks that they've never seen anything like it. I was wondering if there were any Gibson experts out there that could tell me anything about it, as I have tried everywhere else and failed miserably!!!!

Thanks!

Chris:)

Hi there...

If you are in Europe, get in touch with either the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville ( White Pages or Yellow Pages online should telly ou the numbers ) or George Gruhns store (http://www.gruhn.com) ( in Nashville, too )
If youŽre in Europe, contact Wolfgang Eistert at the Guitar Coffee Shop (http://www.guitar-coffee-shop.com)
Those guys should be able to help ya out. Or how about purchsing the Blue Book ?
One last thing I can think of is the user review database at Harmony-Central.com... there are bunches of reviews of Gibsons, and if you browse that section, maybe youŽll find a review of another Gibson like yours... usually thereŽs an Email-addy of the reviewer attached, so you could even try to get in touch.
Hope this helps
Anyone else ?
