They've got a lot of instructional stuff down there. Most of which you have to pay for, though... But when you register you get $ 10,- for nothing!
So I wonder if anyone knows the site and could point me towards some good stuff! (I'm specially interested in learning how to improvise, rock style.) I was also looking for some nice jamtracks there, but most mp3 files are just recorded midi tracks. Yikes... And a lot of files are just demo's from cd's they offer.

Maybe someone knows where the real goodies are...?

I have an article on Truefire. I originally wrote it for How To Play Guitar Magazine, which was a spin-off of Guitar Player.
The article is called "Worker's Comp" and deals mostly with jazz comping, but there are some rhythm parts on there that are good practice for rock players. I recorded the samples as WAV files, so the sound quality is OK, I think. I think the lesson costs $1.50.

Search for Steve Carter.

I used the free $10 and bought some SRV type licks and stuff. It was decent. It come with powertab file and audio. More SRV stuff for me to learn. However I also purchased some neoclassical stuff and dimishished chord stuff which was almost useless. So I think it's kind of hit or miss. But since they gave me the $10 I can't complain.
