I've finally gotten out of my "NO! NO BOXES!" phase, and been working on my legato and four-note-per-string scales, and both of them together in particular. I've neglected both, having been an alternate-picker for quite a while now. ;) I've been having a very hard time indeed playing legato runs at all on any string below the second. Any suggestions?
Edit: Perhaps I should clarify myself better. My problem is that when using my bridge pickup(ESP EC-300, EMG HZ-1 pickups), everything is rather noisy. Using the neck, everything's nice and... indistinct. Aye. :cool:
