Hey guys, there's this band I grew up listening to... I think they're swedish or something, Stratovarius... I was listening to them in my car the other day and this song came up and I thought "Hey this would make a cool alt picking excercise, so I went online and downloaded the tab (yeh yeah I'm lazy I didn't want to transcribe the whole thing :D ) and I thought I'd share it with you (and just now we were talking about stuff piling up, well here have 5 more pgaes to file away :) )... I've written all this when I could've just said "Here, this is a real cool picking exercise, check it out" :) Ok I'll shut up now, here's the song:

Wow, that's really cool! I think I heard this a long time ago becuase it sounds familar.
Workout? That's child's play! ;) And if you believe that...
This would take some serious dedication to get it up to speed. I probably won't do it, but I think I'll *borrow* a couple of licks for practicing. ;)

Hey FK i wasnt familiar with statovarius and thats just straight out fun! Thanks for the file!
Hi guys!
Being Finnish myself, I just have to correct that Stratovarius
comes from Finland! :D There are already too many great
bands coming from Sweden.. couldn't have them get credit for
Stratovarius too!! :D. Alltough they have swedish keyboard
player Jens Johansson (some one might remember him with
Yngwie Malmsteen :) ) and German drummer Jörg Michael.
Yeah! Timo Tolkki ( Guitarist for Stratovarius) has written this
kind of "picking excercises" for nearly every album they have
made. I'm not sure if these are really good enough musically to
be on album but at least they are great fun to play!! :D

Hey,
Thanks for the info :) I wasn't sure about Startovarius origin
Hey Koala glad you liked the file
Hi Bizarro it's easy stuff but speed it up to shred mode and it can be a bit challenging, this is the kind of stuff you want to shred (and I'm not a fan pf shredding, believe me, I just do it for fun sometimes :D ) 'cause it seems like the faster you get it, the cooler it gets... anyways, glad you liked the file.
