I just cant do it. :(
When you need to push the string upwards not to slip off the fretboard... Is there som special technique to do this? Have you got any tips on how to do it? Maybe put your fingers in a different angle or something?
Thanks!

just vibrato it towards the B string. Bending it up a bit while shaking it back and forth , or you can use some of these ideas. http://www.vai.com/LittleBlackDots/84/vibrato.html maybe this will help.

Yeah i totally agree... just be careful to always let the string down to its original position cause you don't want to vibrate around a tone thats out of pitch. I think the e-string(s) are the hardest ones to vibrate cause you tend to stay away from the edges too much, being afraid to fall off :D

I can do vibrato on all the other strings (vibrate downwards), then i just use the fingers. When i try to do vibrato upwards I cant use only the fingers so I use the whole arm and that makes it really slow and inaccurate.

a good and even vibrato with maximum control comes from the wrist and the forearm. if executed right you have enough power to apply any kind of vibrato and bend effortlessly - in both directions cause its almost the same hand-wrist movement. be sure not to move the whole arm or even the shoulders.
take a look at a malmsteen vibrato for example - no matter if you like his music or not. he has a very good vibrating and bending technique.

It's all a matter of practice, you are suposed to use your wrist instead of your fingers, do you also have problems with vibrating bent notes? Check out Eric's article on bending that'll help for sure, try and use that same approach on vibrato.
I hope this helps.
