It's back , give it a try.

V -Down pick the first note , Hammer the next 2
Then pick all the notes on the next string starting with an Up stroke ^ v ^ , pick once on the high "E" sound 6 notes by slurring .On the descend you'll find an old Paul Gilbert Riff , done here with Economy picking and pull offs .

Hey Spin cool exercise. Those 5,7,8 patterns is always fun to play around with.
When I'm out of ideas when I improvise especially fast rock songs I alway end up stumbling around with those patterns.
