Hi there,
I donŽt have a GR-1 right now, but when I tried it a while ago, I liked it lots. It tracks pretty fast ( tracking speed always was a problem with guitar synths ), and the sound are nice... some are not easy to use, but once you take your time and experiment with it, youŽll sure fdind some interesting sounds and effects that you can use
Hope this helps

I have one of these. If you can get the pickup in just the right position ( as close to the bridge as posible, and very close to the strings) they work great. I use mine to sequence midi tracks. Some of the sounds are really nice, especially the guitar with pad and piano with pad. Just don't plan on recording any great solo work with this, due to tracking issues. If your solo is slow it will do fine.

60 pounds for a cable sound quite high I thought they were about 50-60$ which should be around 30 pounds.
