Rocksuperstar and I met up today at my house and had a wee jam. We were fooling about tryin out harmony leads for first time and then i hooked up mic to ma pc n we had some fun.

anyway heres somethign we done...bit busy the now just quick post but will clarify into more detail later.

Pretty cool. I didn't really care for the first part, but half way through when you guys picked up the pace it a bit it was really fun to listen to.

Very cool! You guys have an attitude and are actually making real music. Like the Paul Gilbert string skipping thing. Might be a good exercise for you to try to harmonize that.

we were just havin fun and wantin to try out some stuff. First time i had done any harmony things....actually first time ive had a proper jam with someone.

Well I was using (we both were)
Musicman Axis
Marshall JCM900 combo
........

and Chris used his Les Paul Classic for a few parts.

The rhythm on first part was les paul and left channel on first part.

The rest was done on my musicman because we got lazy and didnt want to change guitar.

We hope to have many more time to do stuff like this as i would certainly enjoy it. Mega fun.

I played the string skipping part on second part. Chris done rhythm and the bit at end and also harmonised after my string skippin section.

Thorsten that would be fun to harmonise might give it a go.

Also, thats the first time (and I've been playing a few years) that I've eber actually recorded myself

I'm used to playing with a band and its amazing how much I take for granted having a drummer there to keep me right. Plying off the cuff without even a metronome really shows up a whole manner of wee beasties in my playing :p

found this amazing guitar tone :) using my korg and of course musicman and drive the amp slightly and back volume off.

playings not that great, I was reading a bad tab for solo.
