The last 2 days my left hand has been feeling really wierd. It's not pain, I'm sure of that. What I've been feeling is when I press down with my fingers, I get a wierd feeling in the palm of my left hand, and I while playing my left hand feels extremely uncomfortable. The wierd thing is, it isn't pain. The feeling is just really wierd and its causing my playing to suffer greatly. Does anyone know what they think I might be going through? Thanks.

Going to need a little more information than that. Try to define weird a little better. Does it feel "cramp-like"? Muscular discomfort? Tendon discomfort (in your wrist)? Tingling (Like when you sleep on your arm funny)?

Do you have any discomfort anywhere else (shoulder etc)? Have you injured that arm in anyway in the past 2-3 days (run into a door etc.)

You know an internet checkup is never as good as the real deal but if you can give me some more info I'll take a crack at it. In the meantime try taking the next day or two off from playing.

It was almost like a tingling, but only when I applied pressure. I didn't really practice yesterday and it's pretty much gone today, so I think I'm good.

You better hope (and it sounds like) it's NOT a case of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Pins & Needles are usualy the first signs of you developing CTS.

I advise you lookup CTS and also take a break from guitar for a couple of days and if it persists you should visit your doc.

This can totaly ruin your guitar playing for the rest of your life if it gets so bad, so play safe. (hoho)

Thanks man, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't. The wierd feeling pretty much subsided a few days ago, I've been fine ever since. If it comes back, I'm going right to the doctor though
