back peg

hi all,
i need help. the back peg on my les paul fell off. it's a 79 model and i was wondering what i should do. i checked the top peg and i saw that there was a screw inside and i remember not seeing a screw in the back peg. it was already loose before but i didnt think much of it. should i bring it to the local store or what? and will it cost much? thanks

Hi Allen,
You must be talking about the post for the strap. (?) There is, in fact a screw that holds it in. As long as it's not stripped, you should be able to use any screw that will fit. If it's actually srtipped, you can call the shop and they'll give you a price for repair, (I wouldn't think it to be very expensive )
