Im trying to get my picking really speedy, so I've been hitting a wall, in that my left hand cant keep up. So what sort of exercises should I do to get my left hand up to speed, legato?
thanks

You must be picking really fast if your left hand is the bottleneck.
Some how I think there must be some slop in your picking if this is a true statement. I would go back and slow down your picking and really make sure you are doing it cleanly before I would make this kind of statement.
Look at my Article called Difficult Picking execrises.

The problem mostly occurs on single string licks, which are the only times were my picking can be classed as really fast. Thanks for the links!

Oh man, I hate single string licks, its incredibly how much tougher they are on the left hand then you would think. I think the best way to improve left hand performance on single string licks is practice and a metrenome.
