More solos

Has anyone heard the "Creed - Stand Here With Me" solo........ damn best solo ive heard....... but theres one that comes awfully close to it.... "Metallica - Ride The Lighting" seems nearly impossible to play ;) tell me what ya think

I'm not a fan of the Ride the Lighting solo, Hammett's done much better than that. My favorite Metallica solo is probably either Fade to Black or Orion. Hammett is awfully repetitive though.

Yeah, every now and then Creed slaps an awesome solo into one of their songs. Check out Pity for a Dime (My Own Prison) and Inside Us All (Human Clay). They're not as good as the one from Stand Here With Me, but still kinda surprising coming from Creed. Anyway, Later.

Hey Rockson - yeah, the solo in Pity for a Dime was one the first "fast" solos I learned when I started out. It's a little rough at first, but once you sit down with a metronome for a while, it won't be so bad; plus, anyone who sees you play it will think you're a master of the guitar (unless of course they are a master of guitar). I dont know if you guys know this, but Mark Tremonti has formed a new group: Alter Bridge. Much better than creed in my opinion plus his solos are that much more awesome! He's a real shred master now lol. Anyways thanks for pointing those solos out, Im gonna try them out now.
