Can you guys give some tips on songs that are nice playing on only 2 acoustics?

If one of you will play lead (single notes) and the other backup with chords, then any song will sound good. Yes, an acoustic can play single note lead.

My point, two acoustic guitars both playing backup chords is not very exciting.

And then two acoustic guitars, fighting over the lead, or trying to make a duet out of the lead is not effective.

But one playing scale, or arpeggio, or scale improv, or single note melody and the other playing backup chords as the harmony work well.

So any song that the both of you can play only needs one of you taking the lead and the other playing chords. .
