What's your favourite looking guitar?

Hi everyone,

So what are your favourite looking guitars- I was just looking at the Carvin range and I think all their solid body electrics are gorgeous! I have to say I'm not so keen on their accoustics.


What's your favourite, tell me what's your favourite?

I just love the JPM Music Man's. They play awsome and the look nice to. But thier so expensive here in the Netherlands, But one day somewhere in a galaxy far far away i can affort one :)

In general or specifically?

Specifically My all time fav looking guitar is of course SRV's #1. Its all beat up and battered. Its sweet.

My second favorite looking guitar is EVH's frankenstrat. IMO the single most identifiable guitar there is. There's a good chance even the average Joe on the street who may not know much about music will know who's guitar that is.

Gibson SG, not a fender fan, but love the look of the Jazzmaster:)

I want to say the Jackson Kelly, but I'm really not sure. Perhaps Dean's "ML" style.

Off the top of my head I would have say Ibanez Iceman is the coolest looking model.

Wow. I got a list of them.

Any JP MM catches my eye.
So do the Peavey Wolfgangs.
PRS's look really nice too.

And who's JP MM's are those? Did they get them from a Ernie Ball surplus store?

I like ALOT of guitars. I'll list them in no specific order.

1. Ibanez UV777
2. Nevborn Yggdrasil
3. Nevborn Sleipner XL
4. Parker Fly Supreme
5. Gibson Zakk Wylde Custom Les Paul
6. Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Strat (I played on it and I absolutely LOVE the scalloped frets).
7. Paul Reed Smith Hollowbody II (this guitar has beautiful sustain and tone).
8. Paul Reed Smith Archtop Hollowbody
9. Beck Stainless Steel Neo (very nice looking and very flashy).

Really? I was really disappointed when he went from Ibanez to MM, just on a looks basis. Though the Ibanez JPMs were rarely "pretty", I much prefer the Ibanez body shape. To me, the MMs look really... plain, I guess.

But horses for courses and all!
