In Eric's article "Skip It", he mentions an upcoming article on tapping, but I haven't seen it yet. Tapping is my favorite technique to use and I would love to see an article on it. So Eric, are you gonna come out with an article on tapping?

If I wrote an article (about the technical side of tapping) would you be interested in it Unhorizon?

its really suprising that theres no articles on tapping, i mean judging by his videos, its clearly one of eric's favoured techniques (maybe he doent want to give away too many of his secrets :D )
it might be useful to learn extended scale patterns (unless youre already fluent in joining scales) to have a better idea of where you should be tapping.
theres some tricks too, like pick hiding if youre tapping with your forefinger (cradling the pick in the remaining 3 fingers)
tapping more than one string (two or more fingers - satch style) is a cool thing to learn too.
there hasnt been an article posted in a whole month! tapping would be a good one to end the drought

I think Guni and the rest have been focusing on making the forums better. Right now it's probably the best forum I've ever seen, I've never seen alot of these functions before, usually they're pretty basic.
I'm also wondering about that tapping article. I'd love to learn some different things to do with it. Good luck with that article.

just a word of note:
plenty of tapping licks and ideas, as well as string skipping , alternate picking...etc. at www.chopsfromhell.com they have free video clips and mp3s of the exercises too.Lots of guest columnists you may or may not have heard of, but they are all awesome
enjoy
