maybe it is time to start a licks 'n' riffs part IV..?
play this lick with straight alternate picking! pick‘em it haaard!
to get a more happy sound try also playing a major 3rd instead of the tabbed out minor 3rd keeping the rest like it is.
I have also attached a tapping-version where two fingers of the right hand are needed.
That feels pretty odd at the beginning but if practiced a bit this technique will help playing longer legato lines on one sting! you could play it starting with a "hammer on out of nowhere" and tap always the highest note(s) on each string with your right hand for a more liquid approach.
