Okay. I'm on the verge to destroying everything in my room that has with music to do...

I got a mick and a mixer today and are running my Pod Pro through the mixer. Now the problem. The Pod doesn't dist the mixer at all. And in any recording software the sound isn't at all close to distortion but I still have a distorted sound. I'm going out of my head. It worked before when I didn't have the mixer between. Could the dist be at the actual input of the soundcard? To low to the roof? (A damn midget card?!)...

I shure hope it's something easy to fix since I'm not really into the mood of getting a new soundcard already (although that might be a good idea)...

Any ideas?

You have an impedence/line level mismatch. The output impedence of your pod is designed for the impedence of your soundcard the level of your signal from your mixer may be too high for your sound card input. You might look to see if your sound card has a switch to change the input level, you might nee to use a different input of your sound card as well.

Exactly... had the same problem with my JMP1... that one has a switch close to the outputs, where you can raise / lower output impedance...

Well that isn't the case since everything is on line level... But don't care about it ;P I was tired at the time of the msg. Checked it today and it works fine now. Just read the wave a little wrong.

BTW. That's a good tip that works on almost everything. If doesn't work, give it a rest... over some sleep or so, then try again. =)
