is it true that right handed players can't sing or have difficulties singing, while playing Come as you Are?

I cant sing and play at the same time anyway....so it doesnt really matter to me....lol....

I can't imagine it would be different for different hand preferences. James Hetfield and Zakk Wylde can sing while playing some of the craziest guitar parts. I doubt "Come as you Are" would be too difficult (not to say it's less of a song because of this factor).

It's not about this particular song and/or being right/left handed - it's all about the difference between rhythmic patterns of riffy kind of accompaniment and melody line.

Dave Matthews and John Mayer are righties. Try playing that crazy guitar stuff and sing at the same time. It makes no difference if you're L or R, it's all a matter of skill.

Back when I first picked up guitar I actually learned to sing and play that song. I don't think i can do it anymore becuz it was like 5 years ago...lol...

Iīm lefthanded and canīt play and sing "Come As You Are" at the same time...but I guess that has more something to do with my voice... ;)


I can sing "In Bloom" though...oh, that brings me back to the "Crappiest solo of all times" thread...I really think "In Bloom" is a winner!

hey i m from china,i have played and sing this song 2 years ago.i would give you a advise which can help u sing while u play guitar. that is,u must play this song 's guitar part expertly,then u play with the record,and litttle by little u wiil find ,u can sing while play guitar,so that is.;) i hope this advise will help u
