Here's my gear. Working on getting the pics...digital camera is on the fritz. Anyways...equipment:

Ibanez GRX 720 7-string (.009-.054)
Randall RG-100-SC combo amp
Boss MT-2 Metal Zone Distorsion pedal

When i record though I run my combo amp through a 4x12 Fender cabinet. Right now I'm also saving up for a Clavia Nord Rack and currently getting the student branch of the IEEE to help fund a project to build a customized breath controller.

MY style is still being developed but I can say that right now it kinda sounds like a mix between Yngwie Malmsteen, Fredrik Thordendal, Allan Holdsworth, Zakk Wylde, Cradle of Filth, and Cannibal Corpse.

Hey man, cool choice of songs. I use

ESP ltd ec-100
Ibanez universe 7-string (which i am madly in live with!)

mesa 4x12

I have a heap of songs i'd like to put but i'll just put my personal favourites. surfin with the alien, summer song, war and flying in a blue dream by satriani. Blue powder, the attitude song, the audience is listening and for the love of god by vai. and master of puppets (gotta love those riffs):D

Greetings

Gibson LesPaul Standard. (daddys) - although i play it on my own free will
Status LesPaul Copy
Session Acoustic
Marshall AVT100
BOSS GT-6

Been playing 3 years

Influences include Kirk, Vai, Petrucci, Satriani and Beck.
My style is nothing like these guys, however the music I create would be a mix between RadioHead/Metallica/Dream Theater. its unusual, but I like it

Songs I am proud of being able to play include:
Midnight
Almost all Metallica songs
Never even attempted a Dream Theater song
But I am mostly proud of my own songs I do. I enjoy playing my own than others.
My best attribute is my ear. I have never used tabs to work out a song/solo, and I'm proud of that.

Well... This is some pretty bad gear, atleast compared to yours

A cheap vester guitar- quite good looking, an ok sound (like 300 american)

I like heavier picks, havent decided on a particular brand yet.
Influences Include (Just a few of them, i have too many)

This vast list continues for about 20 pages :)

At the end of the year, when i go to america (im in australia :) ) im getting:
Fender American Stratocaster, probably the deluxe version, undecided, and a nice 60W Fender Amp probably, otherwise a Cheaper Tube Amp. (Can't wait)

I still feel embarrased by my gear :(

Edit: Almost forgot 2 main influences, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Johnson!

We should walk into Guitar Shops shaking and shivering and then tell them they should give us free gear because we have GAS...lol. I wonder what Guitar Center would do...lol.

I have something new to add to my list though. I just recently aquired a very nice Schecter Diamond Series Damien 7. It's a very nice 7-string. In about 6 months I'm going to be replacing the passive EMG-HZ's with they actice counterparts. An EMG 707 in the neck and a 81-7 in the bridge.

Hey man that's actually REALLY good for only 3 years of playing. I wish I had had that much gear when I started out... (but then again when I started out I was a broke 17 year old :D Now I'm a broke 24 year old :p... hmmm... but I can play better than back then :D).

I actually got different gear now I might as well throw it in:

Guitars:

-Takamine Steel String Acoustic

-Ibanez RG-1420 (or something) 7 string prestige
-Ibanez S-470 with Dimarzio Tone Zone in the Bridge and Duncans in the
middle and neck positions
-Shecter C-1 Elite
-Fender '72 reissue Thinline Telecaster
-Heavily modified "Frankenstein" Fretless Samick (that I keep only for
sentimental reasons

Bass:

-Shecter Elite-4

Amps:

-Mesa Boogie F-30 (on wich my cat threw up yesterday I was SO
mad  )
-Ibanez Tone Blaster R15 (or something)
-Marshall GRCD-15

-Boss DD-6
-Boss GE-7
-MXR Dynacomp
-MXR Phase-90

you guys have a ton of gear

Playing for a bit more than 4.5 years

- '72 telecaster custom reissue
- Dillion DR450 (I just got this one yesterday :) )
- Fender Princeton 112Plus amp
- Boss BD-2 pedal

Thats it!!! I had a Yamaha acoustic and Ibanez Artcore, but they are being sold. I don't need several guitars, I mean, why should I keep something that just sits in a case under my bed? I'm gassing for a good amp, and some pedals. Going to do some work on the Dillion though, make it a beast.

Man! You sound just like my wife LOL :p I agree with not having guitars that you won't play, except that I do play EVERY single guitar I own.. alright I don't really play the "Frankenstein" but I do play all the other ones. I use the Tele for my jazz stuff (I know, I know ... it's weird seing a guy with a Tele playing jazz considering that the guitar of choice seems to be an archtop but oh well ), The shecter gets A LOT of mileage 'cause it's my teaching guitar (I take that one everywhere). I used both Ibaneses in my band and since now we got disbanded they are recording guitars. The Takamine gets taken out to parties a lot. And the Lucero classical one I take for the classical ensemble class. So there :D See? I NEED all of those lol

Hey isn't denial a beautiful thing? :D

Well, playing for a little more than five years now, a constant lack of money has kept me from getting infected with GAS. Here's my list:

Guitars:

- Fender 60's Classic Telecaster
- Ibanez Blazer Series (not used anymore)
- Justin Santa Fe steel-string-acoustic (cheap, but does the job)

Amps:

- Marshall JCM2000 DSL 50w
- Squier Champ 25GR (solid-state, practicing amp)

FX:

- Danelectro T-Bone (Distortion, hardly used)
- Boss CS-3
- Boss CH-1

Misc.:

- Korg DT-10 (Pedal-Tuner, cool!!!)
- Clayton Ultem .96 picks
- D'Addario EXL 120+ strings

Wishlist:

- Fender Stratocaster (equipped with a PAF-style bridge-HB)
- TC Electronics G-Major (for reverb and delay)
- Vox Wah
- MXR Phase 90
- Keeley Compressor (awesome device, www.rkfx.com)

Never forget: It's all about tone, timing and attitude!!!

Influences:

Well, that's hard to tell... I think the most important influence (in many ways) would be my former teacher Abi von Reininghaus. Other than that, I've always liked Eddie Van Halen very much (but it doesn't come out in my playing).

Since you guys are probably aren't interested in my present acoustic guitar set up, I'll tell you about the electric set up that I haven't touched in almost four years.

Marshal 50/50 rack mounted stereo power amp (with the selector switch set to 30 watts)

Rocktron midi addressable pre-amp with Hush

Hughs and Ketner midi addressable preamp

Alesis Quadraverb also midi addressable

ADA midi foot controller

Marshal silver aniversery 4-12 bottom cabinet with 25 watt greenback speakers.

Through midi programing, I can tell it which preamp to use for diferent sounds. the Hughs and Ketner is the all out Raunchy Crunch. Very vintage sound.
The Rocktron provides a smooth overdrive similar to Mesa Boogie.

Ibanez JEM 777FP
Fender Relic '56 Strat (Fiesta Red)
Kramer Baretta II Pro (Black) w/Joe Barden p-ups
Gibson ES-355 1968 (Cherry Red)
Breedlove acoustic

Amps:-
Mesa Boogie Rect-o-verb combo
Soldano SLO-100
Cornford Harlequin (these amps ROCK!!!)
AER acoustic amp

Effects:-
Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer
Budda Wah
Digitech Whammy pedal

Just thought i'd add my gear to the list, theres some pretty nice stuff here but ive accumulated it over a few years plus selling stuff (wife, kids, house etc...). Newest guitar is the PGM-i would say its one of the best rock guitars available at the mo its seriously underrated cuz its not viciously expensive! Also the Cornford amp may only be 6 watts or whatever but it totally wails esp with tube screamer in line!

Peavy Rage 158 (practice amp)

FX:
Boss Compressor
MXR Phase 90
No name Distortion pedal I found in my brothers basement a few days ago; it doesnt sound that awesome, so I still gotta see what I can do with it....

Influences:

Abi von Reininghaus (my former teacher; influental in alot of ways as far as playing, attitude and the right mind set goes)

Nile Rodgers (because of his rythmic playing)

Richie Sambora ( such a versitale player; but he always puts the song first and technique second...great!)

Steve Clark (he always seemed to be such a creative mind; as far as technique goes Phil Collen was/is the man; but they both really complemented each other in an awesome way on Pyromania and Hysteria)

Kee Marcello (gotta love his "song within a song" solos....I wont get any better than Superstitious or More than meets the eye)

Other than that I´m more into songwriters: Jim Peterik, Joey Tempest, Desmond Child, Dianne Warren, Stan Meissner, Jim Steinman, the guys who did the Celine Dion cds (oh well that would be Aldo Nova, for example (to get the hard rock connection)), etc........ You get the point....
