Anyways i live near Ft.dodge Iowa, anyone from there.....

I hear it's very rare to form a lasting band in Iowa since alot of Iowa is farming country...lol...jk. Where I live it's mainly forest and farm land...lol.

Yes, harmonycentral.com is an excellent site to post a 'musicians wanted' classified ad, as well as read up on reviews of gear (you can usually tell the idiots from the serious people right away)

If there are any music competitions or any exhibition or any type of ocassion where instrumentalist would gather would be a cool place to find some for band.No matter where you live but even if theres one ocassion like that man you should go there becuase if you have luck you'll surely find someone.Believe me i used to think i'll never be able to make a band and now,we are three mad musicians :D .So try your luck.

Well, here in italy, at least in my area, we simply drop notes in clubs where bands perform live, music stores, musical instruments stores (and their sites, if they have a board), and of course, in the rehearsal rooms (really common over here, if you don't want the police to knock @ your door every day ;)).
