Has anybody ever installed one of these on a lo-profile trem? I'd like to put one on one of my guitars but they say they require modification of some form.

I already have one on another guitar and the only modification I can see working is hogging out some of the face of the guitar where the D-Tuna would hit it. I don't really care for the idea of destroying the face of my Rhoads just to install one of them.

Hi there,

I never installed one myself, however, I used one on the Wolfgang I used to own.
It is a great tool, works fine. Yes, I guess you need to chip away some of the wood to have this installed. Maybe you should call or email Peavey (http://www.peavey.com) and ask whether it fits on the type of trem you have on your guitar.
And of course, you should install it only on a non-floating bridge ( no upwards moving ). I dunno, maybe a blackbox ( tremsetter ) would help in case you have a free-floating bridge.
Hope this helps
Eric
