howdy,

this is my first post. before i go through and start dl'ing files i felt it was my duty to contribute. here are two files on "inside" and "outside" scales used for dominant chords and a third file with 24 bars of an outside run and also of an inside run. if you'll notice, each group of four notes (sometimes 8) in the "licks" file was grabbed from one of the scale files and i kept changing every half of measure. this will give you a good idea of how to get out of patterns ruts (by simply combining as many patterns as you know every few notes, instead of of staying with the same mode). like the inside lick in the third file, it may seem awkard at first but if you get it up to speed you will impress yourself very quickly.

i found this forum by searching for PTB files on yahoo. if anyone has anything in the way of fusion licks and ideas i would be happy for you to post them here. :D oh and kotzen stuff too.

thanks and enjoy,
FFF

Heeya FFF,

welcome to ibreathe!

if you do a search for let's say "licks" or "riffs" you'll find tons of stuff! same for "kotzen" and "ptab".
it will take days to go through all this :) .

have fun and thanks for posting your stuff! keep doing that!
