I know this might sound stupid but I already know how to play a natural harmonic note but I have know idea how to play an artificail or pinched harmoic note. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to play these kinds of notes.
Thanks a lot in adavnce.

sure man, i'll talk u through it:
basically just fret a note, then pick it in a way that your thumb kindda tocuches the string that was pickd but this has to be quick like a minimilisecond or something, right after the note was picked.
but look, don't put too much preassure with your thumb, just a light touch will do thye job.
hoppe this helps man , let me konw if it did

It's really hard to explain. But for you're first try at a pinch harmonic try it kind of in the middle of the fretboard on either the G or D string (5th- 10th fret). I find this is the easiest play to get a good, strong pinch harmonic. The toughest place for me is on the high E string, I have never gotten a solid pinch harmonic on it, I don't know why, oh well.
