Ok Ok Ok........Maybe Not DIRE need......BUT! none the less I still need help. (now for the whole story and all that BS)

Alright, I have Jason Becker's CD "Perspective". LOVE the CD!!! Love it....I mean the man is an absolute master mind! But the track that sticks out most in my head is "Blue" I mean, the way he plays on that track is how I want my style to be......It's just so fluid and in-formal BUT! at the same time it is fluid and formal. It's like every note rolls off of his tounge, Just like if he were talking. This song just "spoke" to me the first time I heard it.

Since then I have been picking apart stuff from it...But I have gotten to the parts that are beyond my transcribing abilities, I need a tab...In PTB formatt would be best....But ANY kind of tab would be VERY VERY VERY helpful.

The reason I am learning this is because I am planning on doing my own 'cover' version of it an all....and I wanted to see how he structured some of the parts so I will kind of have a background to know what to do when and where.....

Thanks in advance guy's, you've always came through for me before....and I hope this time it wont change any

hey how was moving?

i don't have a tab, and i don't know the song either, but i can help :-)

go here (http://www.seventhstring.com/) and download transcribe!
its a great tool and easy to use.
slow the tricky stuff down transcribe it, and then write down in powertab how you play it.
would be a ultimate exercise and a achievable goal since you can slow down that track until you hear one 16th note a minute!

Okay, whilst on the subject of that program phantom said to download, it is a kickazz (not swearing there) program, but the only problem is, does anyone know how to convert a normal sound file, or cd-track into mp3 format? sean

hi there,
i just got bananed, not banned  .
had a couple of bananas in my lunch brake and started feeling...bananed.
but thanks for asking se_12121.
i'm better now ;) .

on the converting thing: you can download "audiograbber" or do a oogle search. there must be a few shareware prg's out there. or do it with wavelab - that wood be the expensive alternative.

Yea actually I have started work on it, I have the first few bars done and out of the way. To tell you the truth I havent had alot of time to play these past few weeks (I am trying to get stuff with my high school correct). When I start putting it in power tabs ill post my progress.
