Hey, I need help on this one arpeggio, I need to know the fingering. Another question, this arpeggio is to the song "december flower" by in flames, its at the beginning of the solo. I've always used sweeping on it, with some weird fingering i kinda managed to come up with, but when i listen to the recording, it's hard to tell whether it's alternate picked or not. Here's the tab. Thanks.

i think the fingering is 1-2-3-2-2-1-2-2-2

using the fingering above seems like the most obvious chioice, but if you add a slide between the first two notes using your 3rd finger, you could finger it more practically.
i.e. 3-(s)3-4-3-3-1-2-2-2
that would change the sound ever so slightly though, but make it much less awkward.
EDIT: actually, looking at it again, the slide is not neccisary at all.. just finger it as i put it, minus the slide, i guess
also, the first 3 notes are most likely AP'd and the rest should be swept.

Thanks guys, but have any of you heard the song to tell me whether it's swept or picked? ive always sweeped it, but it sorta sounds like its alternate, i need someone with better ears who can crack through the bad production

Here's a better way of playing that. The fingering would be 1 3 4 1 1 3 4 3 4. At the tempo you put it at I'd alt pick it every time. With the way you tabbed it, I'd probably use sweeps for the two arp bits (and alt for the other bits).
