Any insights on "chord chemistry" book??

I've studied it off & on over the past fifteen years. I probably wasted a lot of time trying to hammer ideas into my head when that head wasn't ready, so I treat it mainly as a reference now. Some of the concepts are just too complex for me to understand or put to use. But on the other hand, I spend some time (months, years, etc.) studying other things, then I come back to a particular page in Chord Chemistry and I suddenly understand the previously difficult chords or ideas.
If you're serious about chord theory, it's definitely worth having in the collection.

It's used by everybody that's serious about learning chords, mainly jazz and prog-rock type players. I think it's one of the best things ever written for the guitar.
It's the sort of book where you read as much as you can, then pick a spot to start working on for a week or two. Then you work on something else. Everytime I read through it I pick up something new, even though I might have read the same section 100 times.
