realy? I'm a metal bassist - but i prefer to play in the midrange/highend of the bass rather than the low end - unless it calls for it (which is very often, playing metal and all) - you should come to the spam belt of scotland every other punter on the street recons they're a bass player and every third one thinks they could play metal
