back in the good ol' days, there was a site, www.ultimateguitarpage.com, that had all kinds of good metal riffs and licks on it with audio. It is gone now......
Does anyone know a good site to learn metal riffs from? REAL metal....not metallica or def leopard or something hewheheheheehe
noiz_anomaly,
I encourage you to entitle the threads you create in a more descriptive way for an easier future reference.
Thanks,
Zatz.

Thanks for renaming the thread ;) Didn't mean to offend you in any way.
Still I'm going to refrain from changing my name...
Zatz.

can I use zootz then? hehehehe
you didn't offend me I was just playing around....I find that if you don't have a sense of humor about things you can quickly lose your marbles....but the weird thing is....I didn't rename it...I would have but I didn't even know you could....unless I have a multiple personality disorder
dun dun dun.,...(lame attempt at typing suspenseful music)

Black Sabbath - The Best of ;)
what is it you're looking for exactly; a database of riffs in a metal style or a database of actual metal riffs?
either way, you can't go wrong with power tab archive (http://www.powertabs.net/pta.php?page=search). the quality of their tabs is beyond comparison to the text format tabs.

from what I know I can't use powertab on a mac.
I'm looking for mostly black metal, death metal, and neo-classical metal riffs.
