what shall I compose???

At the moment, I'm into a lot of different types of music!

I'm playing in a band and I've got many ideas for songs to play, but I don't know if its good to mix up the styles, or if its better to write each song in one style!

mixing them up could make the music boring, or would it be better to put some styles together!

Hey The Key, welcome to ibreathemusic. I know you want helpful answers, and I know you aren´t going to like this one, but it´s the best advice there is really. Do whetever feels right to you, do not limit your creative potential by setting up boundaries of where your music can and can´t go. Just go ahead and do stuff, see if it works, if it doesn´t change it, if you don´t like it at all, save it for the future or discard it.
