guitar teacher in la?

can anyone recommend a good guitar teacher in the la area? (near UCLA, santa monica, westwood, san fernando valley, sherman oaks)

Phonebook, Teachlist, or MusicStaff work wonders (hahaha!). My guess is you can get cheap instruction from a student at one of the music schools around there. A friend who attended GIT for a semester made some extra cash by teaching for about half the price of other teachers in the area...and said others students did that, too.
