Bouncing In A Bottomless Pit

How would you finger this?

the one finger per fret approach works well with this (apart from in the 4th bar, but the pinky can cover both the F and F#) But you'll need to pivot across the strings fairly often to do so.

anyway, my fingering goes as follows:

1,2,1,1,2,4,1,2,1,2,1,2,2,1,4,2,1,4,2,1,2,2,1,1,2, 1,2,2,1,4,2,1,4,2,1,4. phew :rolleyes:

keep your fingers in the same position throughout and simply pivot to whichever string you need.

I can't see the pic but I'm guessing it's the Fredrik Thordendal song right? If so I can help you with any questions on this. I can play the song...lol. It's actually one of the few songs I memorized. Good song though. I remember I actually made a powertab of this song. There are some parts in the tab that I got that weren't right so I fixed them in the powertab.

When I play that song I just bar the 10th fret with my index and muting the B string with my middle finger while my ring finger plays the 11's and 13' on both the B and High E strings.

There's another way of playing it if you don't mind stretching. I also learned to play it like this when I first learned the song:

I got it down to that part, and some of the tapping stuff, but I thought I'd finally should learn the entire part. BTW. Have you seen the PowerTab for Z1-Reticuli?

Yeah, I tried building it, but I suck at surface mounted electronics, so I'm re-designing it for "regular" parts. It's easier, but it'll be a bit bigger, also building a ADA STD-1 and a 1x12 ;)
